Project Description
1976 Third Year

Prahran College Third Year. Writer Jean Campbell, photographed during the filming of Paul Cox’s film “We are all alone My Dear”. A portrait of Jean Campbell by Lina Bryans called “The babe is wise” hangs in the NGV. After a life of renown and fame Jean was alone and seemingly forgotten [her quote became the film title]. I used the shadow of the Home to make a statement about what Jean was walking back into. Prahran, 1976

She pulled her camera off of her shoulder and made the image. Prahran, 1976
