![On a rarely used dirt road at Ucolta SA is a memorial to men from the area who served in WWI. The memorial is built from stone retrieved from the original Memorial Hall - now a collapsed heap and visible in the lh side of the photograph. The plaques with the soldier's names [also rescued from the original Memorial Hall] are embedded in the newly constructed memorial. The site is near the old Ucolta rail siding, now disbanded. The buildings in the background, also disbanded, are former accommodation for rail employees.
